THE INFINITE BETWEEN
THE INFINITE BETWEEN is a series that was created 5 years ago to begin curating all of the paintings over the past 25 years, plus any new ones that come along. They are organized in ‘Books’ of 8, and a new one is added each year.
Each painting, a story on its own, connects with all of the others. The ending of one can lead to the beginning of any of the others. No start or finish, just jump wherever you are called, find your way, and see where you go.
The Books all have a Theme and each Story follows suit.
The stories represent life experiences, lessons, and many facets of being an being. In a way, they are a collection of my memories from this long path of roughly over 25 years living a Creative life.
Currently, we are at the halfway point with Book 5 coming this Fall which will begin the second part of this campaign.
My work is a form of Visionary Storytelling, and early on I found a passion for Creation stories.
Whether Spiritual, Scientific, Fiction, or Myth, I use my canvas as a space to find the connections across cultures from around the world, and through time.
The intention is to draw inspiration from these stories, and in the unfolding pattern, the hope that we can see we are all headed in the same direction.
Personally, I use them when I find myself in a creative doldrum, something is blocking my path, or having an existential crises.
A great tool to get back on track.
