Book 4: Music of the Spheres
Chapter 7: Thinker
What are you thinking?
KNOW THYSELF. You are a living document, so this is a never ending process. More like a Practice in Being. Fine tuning, chiseling, carving yourself into what you want to be.
To be lazy here, is to be lazy everywhere. It all starts in your mind, and focusing those thoughts outward through your emotions, body, spirit, and actions. Proper thoughts beget proper results.
It's OK to fail though, to fall, and get it wrong, sometimes again and again. Like with any heavy machinery, you have to learn how to use your mind. You have to exercise it, work with it, and learn from your mistakes.
This piece is a detail of a larger painting that I converted into my first Digital Painting. It's of Rodin's Thinker, which itself is of a larger piece called the Gates of Hell.
It's a study of Rodin doing a study of Dante's Inferno, and represents staying focused when Chaos is swirling all around you. To find a path through it, and not lose yourself in the madness.
Be the center point, the cornerstone, of your existence. Well grounded, well focused, with your thoughts crystal clear.
