Book 3: Kalachakra

Chapter 7: Burst of Spring

What does the new season bring?

The Winter in our lives comes to an end, as new growth arrive with the Spring. The Sun is back and we dance and sing again. Light is shining brightly, and we come our of our caves.

In the burst of inspiration, life creates anew. New music, new art, new writing, new everything. The song continues. It's been a long, long road, and the direction is now clear.

We rejoice, the shadows are gone and it's as if we've never been in the valley. Be careful, as always, its a wave, and ebbs and flows. Don't reach out too far, for when the tide turns again, we don't want to be caught out in the surf.

This painting is of the birth of Saraswati. Hi above in the mountain cliff is the head of Brahma, the Creator. However his eyes are closed, because within his imagination is as far as he can take Creation. It's through Saraswati, his partner, that all is created and born into the material Realm.

Father - Pater - Pattern / Mother - Mater - Matter
Creation is a dance between Pattern and Matter.

She sits on the blossoming lotus, playing her Veena, at the mouth of the river that is named after her. A river that was once thought to be myth, but whose dried up river bed was discovered by NASA from space.

Through her comes the arts, music, language, education, and all the things that make life worth living, and culture grow. The time to create is here, what part will you play?
