Georgetown: Anomaly
HELLO, GEORGETOWN!
If the doors are OPEN, we’re OPEN! Please come in and say hello.
We hope for a steady schedule by AUGUST, thank you for being patient with us.
For now, look for us to be open JULY weekends, and at random, magical times, most likely during the amazing sunsets in our valley.
Currently, we are hard at work restoring the OMG Mural! for Idaho Springs.
As soon as we are done, we will go FULL SPEED!
Me For Scale
For the past 3 months, I’ve been bringing the OMG Mural back to life. Originally painted by Wendell Pugh in 1997, it had become 95% deteriorated.
Layer after layer, we had to build the painting back up from the exposed wood.
It’s been an honor being a part of this restoration project.
Idaho Springs, Colorado will be unveiling the restored mural this 4th of July.
How it Started!
How its Going!
Meanwhile, we are quietly building a creative space in the heart of Georgetown.
A Gallery dedicated to Visionary Storytelling.
As we move forward we will be hosting LIVE painters, musicians, and storytellers.
Grow a good collection of Local and Independent Authors and Used Books.
Workshops and Classes.
Hi, my name is Keith and I will be your curator on this journey, and thank you for being patient with us. The original plan was to be open in mid-MAY and have a big party in JUNE, however moving a gallery into a new space is just like finding your way through a painting, it grows and evolves, and to be honest, we want to make sure we do this right. Please, Let us know if we get too loud. Or not loud enough.
This space has been dreaming
itself real for a time.
. . . and through this space, the story will unfold.
This will be a Working Gallery. The work is being produced in-house and all pieces will be a combination of work for sale AND work in progress.
When we are open, look for me in the Studio in the
back of the Gallery and see what stories are coming to life.
Georgetown, Colorado is a great place to swap stories.
